Elena, a 2016 graduate, began her career in general practice, swiftly transitioning to a small animal internship in Spain.

Her passion for oncology led her to an intensive oncology internship and an ECVIM-CA residency at AniCura Glories Veterinary Hospital in Barcelona, culminating in 2023.

Currently leading the oncology service at one of the most important Referral Hospitals in Spain, Elena is on the path to obtaining her Diploma in Veterinary Oncology.

She has a keen interest in clinical veterinary oncology, with a particular focus on canine round cell tumours, including lymphoma and mast cell tumours. Elena champions a multimodal approach in patient care, striving to deliver the highest standard of treatment.



Beyond her clinical role, Elena is also an active educator, teaching postgraduate courses in small animal oncology for the past two years, sharing her knowledge and inspiring the next generation of veterinary oncologists.
