Emili's academic journey began with his graduation from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2011. He swiftly progressed to a rotating internship at the UAB Teaching Hospital, followed by a vital role as an out-of-hours vet at Hospital Veterinari del Maresme, Mataró, Barcelona.

Emili's career took an international turn in 2016 at Vets4Pets Liverpool-Speke, UK, subsequently deepening his focus in neurology with an internship at the Animal Health Trust and a residency at the University of Liverpool’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital, culminating in 2020.

Since 2020, Emili has been working in one of the main Referral Hospitals in the North of England as a Referral Clinician in Neurology. His expertise is recognised by his 2021 accolade as a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology, and further by his 2022 recognition as an RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Neurology. His most recent achievement in 2023, an accreditation by AVEPA (Spain), cements his status as a leader in his field.
